From March 2014 to 2017 the Sackler Centre for arts education is temporarily closed due to the construction of the Exhibition Road Building. During this period, learning programmes and events that previously took place in the Sackler Centre will relocate to a new temporary Learning Centre on level 3 of the Museum. The Lydia and Manfred Gorvy Lecture Theatre off the Silver Galleries on level 3 remains in use. Some programmes will also take place in the Clore Study Room, Room 55 on level 2, British Galleries.

The Learning Centre offers modern facilities in a historic setting including: reception desk for schools and groups; an atmospheric new lunchroom and schools cloakroom; art, design and digital studios; and two seminar rooms. Family back-packs and trails will be available from the reception desk.

A gift in your will

You may not have thought of including a gift to a museum in your will, but the V&A is a charity and legacies form an important source of funding for our work. It is not just the great collectors and the wealthy who leave legacies to the V&A. Legacies of all sizes, large and small, make a real difference to what we can do and your support can help ensure that future generations enjoy the V&A as much as you have.
